You can reach that maximum towing capacity when properly equipped with the available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with eTorque. This engine generates 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Other engines are available, as well, including a standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine, a Supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8 engine, and a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine. These engines can tow between 7,730 pounds and 12,560 pounds when properly equipped, depending on your powertrain.
Ram 1500 Safety
