2022 Wagoneer Overview
Jeep has always been a brand that's proud of its storied history and legacy, and the Wagoneer is no different with a bold styling that very much recalls the classic Wagoneer of days gone by. The retro-themed design combined with solid off-roading and towing capability alone are enough to draw people to the Wagoneer. It's a versatile SUV designed to fill the needs of a family hauler and a trailblazer. It boasts three different four-wheel-drive systems from which to choose: the Quadra-Trac® I, Quadra-Trac® II, and Quadra-Drive® II systems.
The Wagoneer is set to launch with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will be available as standard rear-wheel drive, with the three four-wheel-drive setups as options. It boasts a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, which is strong enough to handle your fishing boat and even a travel trailer.
Interior Cabin Design
The cabin is plenty spacious with seating for up to eight passengers spread across three rows. The materials in the cabin are high quality and it's both comfortable to sit in and boasts a good driving position in terms of visibility. It boasts abundant cargo capacity with a maximum cargo space of 116.7 cubic feet when all the seats are folded down. Behind the third row, you get 27.4 cubic feet, and behind the second row, 70.8 cubic feet of space are available.
It will boast the Uconnect® 5 infotainment interface with advanced AI and voice commands. Options at higher trim levels include features like a four-screen control center. Even the base interface, however, is a 10-inch display with a 10.25-inch driver information display and electronic gauge cluster. It has wireless integration with both Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® as well as full Amazon Alexa integration. It's lightning-fast in processing time and can even download updates OTA. Finally, you can connect two wireless phone connections at the same time.
